Where Help is Still Needed to Finish the Archives!
1. I dumped a whole (large) forum, namely General Discussion, on one person for converting in the early days of the project. If anyone would like to help with that it would probably be most welcome. (Update:: I should be all set with this. Mmm, new computer.)
2. If anyone would like to help resave Filk, please let me know. Help may or may not be needed there, but having a second person couldn't hurt. You need at least Internet Explorer 5.0 and a couple hundred MB of hard drive space to spare. (Update: Thanks! All set here. :D )
3. I will definitely need help with the resaving of the Science Fiction and Fantasy forum. There are 7 to 9 months that still need to be resaved--again, you need Internet Explorer 5.0 and some space on your computer. (Update: Thanks to Dromy--all set here, except for needing the rest of the threads! )
4. There is a possibility that I might need some help with the resaving of Miscellaneous. (Update: I need more help on this than I expected. There are a few months presently up for grabs, although thanks to the 'puter I'm working on this and General Discussion. Update 2: Neeeeeever mind. :D )
5. The threads are currently in alphabetical order, except for Fan Fiction and Announcements, and put in month by the last date posted. If anyone would like to help me put them in a better order, which would also help preserve the way Slipstream looked, that would be awesome. You would not need any extra space on your computer, but would have to be willing to use some online time for it. Please contact me or contact me if you wish to help, since almost all forums are not in the 'right' order. ( Update: I've changed all of these except for Web Sites. )
6. This isn't necessarily something I'm looking for active help on, but if you notice a broken link, please feel free to let me know about it. Some of them are there temporarily because I've put the index for that month up before the threads, and some of them really are a mistake.
7. If anyone is interested in making a logo for the archives, please contact me through Ex Isle. This may disappear in the near future, though, since there are some people who have been helping to make one.
