I'm not impressed by MUTANT X 2.0 so far

I have watched the second season opener for mutant X and it left me feeling like I have watched THE BRIDE OF EARTH: FINAL CONFLICT SEASON FIVE.

Shalimar has her same look
Emma's new look
the first half of the episode

WHAT'S BAD:
Ashlocke's obsession with Shalimar is too drawn out.
Shalimar focusing too much on wanting Ashlocke dead.
the resurrection of an ancient Egyptian with magical healing powers
some fo the music feels like EFC music
In the end, I felt like I watched a Mutant X episode written by the writers of Earth: Final Conflict season five and the writers of Port Charles while ripping off elements from Hammer Horror films. It wasn't painful like EFC season five, but Mutant X will have to better than this episode for me to watch every season 2 episode. I miss Eckhart already and the GSA. The episode started good and then it turned into crap. Have a better one.

I hope the series gets better this season. They have a new head writer...there are possibilities. They just have to realize them.

Stick with it for 8 episodes. If you don't think it gets better, please stop watching. I won't feel bad because at least then I can say you gave it a fair shot.

I will give it a fair shot and I hope the next few episodes are better. One of teh good things I can say about the Mutant X season opener was that it wasn't painful to watch like most of Earth: Final Conflict season 5 (I liked the first four seasons). EFC season 5 did have some good episodes (like the Boone eps and the episodes in the middle of gthe season). The season opener for Mutant X failed for me due to the second half being so horrible. Thanks for responding, Seth. Have a better one.

Errr... I couldn't watch it for more than ten minutes. 8 episodes would be shear torture.
