I saw my first Farscape ep last night.......

Lemme jest say off the bat....I am sooooo lost.
My friend said that I had to watch Farscape if she was going to watch any Andromenda eps. So I agreed. Now I saw it live on sci-fi last night.....she said something about it being from november or december or something like that.
Edit..stupid enter key sent this off early....
Now...can someone please um....give me a brief plot catch up? It's certainly an interesting show.
Oh...I liked it, I might even watch another ep.

Astronaut John Crichton was testing a travel theory of his while in earth orbit. His ship was drawn into a wormhole and dumped out into the middle of a space battle.
Finding himself allied with escaped prisoners, he and his new friends roam the galaxy in search of homes, family, and great wealth. Uh wait, Dominar Rygel wishes to add something:

(chuckle) Dominar Rygel is only semi-blue, he's more of a mottled green and purple. The Blue one is Xan.
And just to thoroughly confuse you, the guy who plays Captain Crais also plays Pilot. Being a Peacekeeper captain on the run, he had to diversify.

This was also my first Farscape episode. However, this Friday at 8:00 they're showing Farscape Undressed which is basically a big recap, right?

No, don't do that! I just watched the Season One finale today and was actually in tears at one point - NOTHING has done that to me since DS9!

Dax, TravelSized, you might want to tune in next Friday at 8:00 on Sci-Fi because they are going to be showing a show called "Farscape: Undressed" that will help new viewers get caught up. I'm guessing that it will be updated for season 3 so I highly recommend that consider watching it if you want to continue watching Farscape. Plus, the interaction between Ben Browder and Claudia Black is a lot of fun.
Believe me, it's worth the trouble to get caught up. Sisko

I'll have to record it then....Fridays I'm at the house w/out cabel....Anyways, I think I'll give Farscape the same deal I gave Drom...it has three eps to impress me or I'm leaving it alone.

I started watching farscape because of a discussion I read by entranced. I went to Blockbuster to see if I could rent a video (because I don't have cable and can't watch it on the Sci-Fi cannel!). They didn't have it so I went to media play and bought the first video!! Let me tell you I was hooked after the first show!!!! (Now I buy the DVD's....the extras are awesome!!!)
I have a great site for you!!! It will give you a sumarary on each episode, so you will know what's going on!!

This is a excellant site!! Now go read up and if possible find someone who has a copy of the first show!!! The humor and acting on this show is the best!! (I actually like it better than Andromeda now......and I have only seen the first season!!!! I am dying at this cliff hanger!!!! I will have to wait months until the next DVD is out!!!!)

Then you've started watching at the right time. The final four are VERY good. Easily some of the best this series has ever done. I hope you like the show.
