Yeah, except for the Orcas.

But yes, great ep.

Except that #@)%# matriarch lady doesn't know how to hold a baby! I was expecting a plot twist because of the way she held the bundle. I wish someone on set had said, "You know, if you try to hold kid like that, kid will go boom."

Otherwise, I liked it.

I saw it two weeks ago fro the first time, and it was awesome!

^except for the matriach-holding-the-baby thing ;) I noticed that too, and expected a plot twist of some sort :)

I loved it except for the Orcas and the guy that was the leader (can't remember his name) that was bad acting.

I actually liked Dylan in this one too.

I saw it two weeks ago too and loved it. I think I liked it the most because we saw a different side of Tyr we don't have a chance to see often. I also noticed the matriarch was holding the baby in a funny way. It was a well written episode. Hopefully season three will follow suit.

DMitri. To say it was bad acting is to vastly understate the case.

But yes this is my all time fave Drom ep.

*This* is the Dylan/Tyr dynamic I want. Friendship acknowledged, agendas acknowledged but Tyr still most definitely being Tyr.

DMitri...thanks, yes, well I was trying to be kind, but he really was bad which was a blemish on a pretty much perfect ep.

YES, YES, YES!!! (opps, I sound like one of those chicks in the Herbal Essence commericals) But, anyway... YES! I liked Dylan in this episode, because the interplay between him and Tyr made him look better!!! Dylan is not Flash Gordon, he is a captain and captains are always stronger with their crew than without. (even a rag-tag crew of misfits)

Edited to add: that I absolutely agree about how you described the Dylan/Tyr dyanmic. For me the defining Tyr moment is the very first glimse we have of him holding the gun. That is Tyr as the world sees him, as he wants the world to see him. The glimspes behind that mask are what make him interesting for sure and are the parts ZAch described in the other thread, but that is a mask he would not let down unless he really, really had to. Like some of his time interacting alone with Rommie was when he let it down, since to him she isn't quite real... Like typing secrets into a computer, it could feel safer than telling another human being.

Tyr is such an interesting, dynamic character... perhaps he should have his own show!

The way Tyr would let an entire pride die for his kid was *chilling*, and so was Freya's death... talk about a great ep!

And I liked the Genites- villains with brains and a reasonable motive, a rare catch nowasays. Not to mention they do more than sit around and get cremed.
