I keep hearing about how Kevin Sorbo ad libbed something in that episode. I guess I missed the whole thread about it. Could someone please explain to me what changes he made? Thanks.

Frankly, you'd need to compare a copy of the final script (with all the coloured sheets) to the transcript of the aired episode to be sure of that.

Is it worth the bother?

There are two changes, niether of which are ad-libs.

And the other one is, about the dead man switch. Instead of pushing the button to launch the missilses, Dylan's finger was supposed to on the button.

Both of these scenes were changed, by Kevin and the director.
