The card, which features a large photo of Kevin Sorbo as Captain Dylan Hunt, as well as a shot of the Andromeda Ascendant, is merely a taster of what's to come later in the year.

According to the back of the card, Inkworks will be releasing the full range in November this year. The company promises that the cards will feature "complete episodic coverage," behind the scenes shots, autographs and more.

Inkworks currently releases trading cards for series such as Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel and The X-Files. From 2002, the company will manufacture cards for another Tribune science fiction series, Earth: Final Conflict.
