• The first known dedicated Andromeda newsgroup, alt.tv.andromeda is now up and running and though it's not yet available to all ISPs, it can be found here at web-based newsreader, Deja.com.
  

  
  

• Jamahl (Jammer) Epsicokhan, known for his Hypertext Star Trek reviews , has announced that his Andromeda reviews will be syndicated at Space.com, which also currently features his bi-weekly =91Deeper Side of Trek' column.

  
  

• The Global Episode Opinion Survey has been enhanced with a section on Andromeda. Once the first season has started, visitors will be able to award ratings for eache episode.

• Finally, last week's edition of Cinescape's Insider newsletter had this to say about Andromeda, or, more correctly, the Andromeda attire: "Have you seen the pics of the uniform Kevin Sorbo wears in the new sci-fi series Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda? The balloony pants and the little patches of faux leather seem so '80s it looks like Sorbo's going to start break-dancing at any moment."
