Just thought it was time for a gentle reminder of some things here on Slipstream BBS . . .

Some of you are pretty new, and some are older members that have returned to the
board, and aren't really familiar with the new policies and posting tips that we initiated a few months ago.

I want to take a moment to just remind everyone of some things that we're getting a *little* forgetful about . . . and we're not picking on anyone in particular, it's just things we've been noticing over the last month or two ...

The first thing is signature lines - everyone has been great about keeping them to the limit of 8-10 lines, and keeping the photo size small in them, but you also all have to start remembering that we'd like you to post them only *once* per thread - not on every reply that you make. Even if it's a signature that you type in yourself instead of using the BBS option, the policy still applies.

The second thing is directing new members to read our policies and posting tips when they post their "Hi, I'm new" messages. When you welcome the new members (and if no one else has done it yet), please direct them to the following two pages:

This will take some burden off of the moderators having to remind new members of the policies.

Also, the Posting Tips for New Members has also been updated to cover the new sections!
